One Health Day presentations!
Last week (Friday 3rd Nov) two of our team members (Prof. Hamish McCallum and Tamika Lunn) gave excellent presentations at the Griffith University One Health Day 2017!
On the same day, Tamika also presented at the Environmental Futures Research Institute 2017 Annual Student Symposium for Higher Degree by Research Candidates.
Tamika was awarded first prize for her presentation in the 'early candidature' category! Congratulations Tamika!

Tamika gave a really engaging presentation outlining her PhD project plans to investigate the ecology of flying foxes and the associated dynamics of Hendra virus.

Hamish gave a fascinating overview of some recent work he's been involved with examining patterns of landscape change (habitat loss/fragmentation/urbanisation) and the impact on emergence of zoonotic infectious diseases through spillover.
All in all it was an excellent day! Well done to all the fabulous presenters!
